Statement

NO MENUS PLEASE was inspired by the Chinese delivery man who I met on a near nightly basis during a two-month period of working late nights and arriving home hungry. The more we greeted each other through my apartment door, where our actions of him handing me my order and my giving him payment with tip became all too mechanical, the more I thought about his life as an immigrant delivering food. My curiosity not only became this film, it was my introduction to film. And it gave me a new sense of purpose.
